10. 49ers

The 49ers' fortunes have flipped. At one point, they looked cursed, but now they look blessed. Mac Jones and Christian McCaffery are having great years, and the 49ers are in contention for the division. Now they are in a position where their team will be getting healthy going into the playoffs.
9. Packers

The Packers have a good record, but they have been a rollercoaster. They have no baseline; they could lose to anyone, but they could also beat anyone; they have all the necessary tools.
8. Bills

The Bills haven't looked great this season, but the win over the Chiefs does help them look legitimate. However, this hasn't moved them to the top of the list because they often beat the Chiefs in the regular season and still lose to them in the playoffs.
7. Patriots

The Patriots are ascending, but they struggled with the Falcons. They aren't Super Bowl contenders this year, but they are a young team, which means they can have exponential growth.
6. Seahawks

The Seahawks destroyed the Commanders, and they continue to be the most balanced team in the NFL.
5. Rams

The Rams are in the mix, and while they haven't claimed the top spot, they are definite contenders and dangerous opponents. Because they aren't just talented, they have championship veteran experience.
4. Bucs

The Bucs have dealt with a lot of injuries, but no way in hell I'm counting them out. The motto of this season has been "find a way."
3. Eagles

The Eagles are only getting better. Even on the bye, they have made trades, and they are bringing in Jaire Alexander and Michael Carter. The Eagles are getting back to Super Bowl form.
2. Broncos

It took a moment, and it hasn't always been pretty, but the Broncos are living up to the hype. They are winning tough games, and they have reached the point where they could become number one in their division, surpassing the Chargers and Chiefs.
1. Colts

The Colts suffered a disappointing loss, yet they remain number one. Everyone is rushing to blame Daniel Jones, but I think they just had a fluke game. The Colts are still the best, and they just traded for Sauce Gardner, so they are getting even better.
Game of the week
Bears vs Bengals

The Bengals are on the wrong end of another 40-point thriller. The Bengals' offense was unstoppable. They got an onside kick and scored what should have been the game-ending score. Joe threw for over 400 yards. He now holds the most yards in a single game by any QB over 40 and has achieved a career best, all while playing with an injured shoulder. But the Bengals' defense sucked. They couldn't even hold the Bears offense for 56 seconds with no timeouts on their side of the field. The Bears scored more and even ran back a kickoff. Instant classic.
The Play of the Week
Loveland Loose

Game on the line, no timeouts under a minute. Caleb throws to Loveland on a chunk play, he's gonna have to go down, and the offense is gonna have to run like 50 yards and spike it. Except Loveland doesn't go down, he makes it through three guys and outruns the rest of the team to take it to the house.
Mvp
Sam Darnold

Sam Darnold lit the Commanders up on Sunday Night Football. He lost Cooper Kupp, and it didn't matter. If Sam is playing like this, the Seahawks are scary.
Narrative Changer
JJ McCarthy

Once again, people tried to write JJ off, and once again, he comes through. JJ beat the big bad lions in his return. JJ is undefeated in the division, and whether people like it or not, the Vikings need him.
