The Power Rankings 2025 Week 6

The Power Rankings 2025 Week 6 are here, complete with the weekly awards!

10. Patriots 4-2

Drake Maye Patriots

The Patriots got a huge win against the Bills last week and followed it up with an outstanding performance against the Saints. The future of the Franchise Drake Maye is looking amazing out there, and he just keeps getting more and more comfortable going out there and attempting dynamic plays. The Patriots are first in the AFC East. It's an exciting time to be a Patriots fan.

9. Steelers 4-1

Metcalf Catch

They beat the Browns like they were supposed to, but they cut through the Browns' defense with more ease than expected. The Steelers have looked very good, but they have also lost to the best team that they have faced. You have to wonder, are they for real, or is this just another Mike Tomlin mirage?

8. Rams 4-2

Kyren Williams

The Rams struggled with the Ravens' defense way more than they should have; however, they did eventually beat the Ravens handily. However, one has to wonder if a better team will be able to exploit the vulnerabilities that the Ravens couldn't.

7. 49ers 4-2

Mac Jones 49ers

The 49ers took their first loss in the Mac Jones Era and lost Fred Warner for the season. Things are not looking good for the 49ers. They are facing a lot of adversity and not much help. But we have seen them bounce back before.

6. Jaguars 4-2

Trevor Lawrence Runs

Jaguars immediately failed right after I gave them so much credit last week. Womp womp womp. The Jaguars are still those same ambiguous contenders.

5. Seahawks 4-2

Smith jigba seahawks

The Seahawks snagged another exciting win in their playoff campaign. The Seahawks are the real Vikings this year.

4. Eagles 4-2

Saquon and Cam

The Eagles lost to the Giants of all teams. When it rains, it pours in Philly. Their defense looks comically weak, and their offense looks broken, but they are still 4-2 and have the tools to get right at any moment, so they haven't fallen from the top 5.

3. Lions 4-2

The Lions

The Lions took a step back as Jared Goff took his first-ever loss to Patrick Mahomes. The Lions could have played better, but they didn't look out of their depth with the defending AFC champions. They are falling from the top spot, but they are still in the top three.

2. Colts 5-1

Daniel Jones

The Colts have been consistent, which has helped them consistently climb up the Power Rankings, and now they sit just outside the number one spot. The Colts have scored 40 or more twice and have scored at least 27 every single game. They look almost unstoppable.

1. Bucs 5-1

Bucs Tez backflip

The Bucs are the Number one team in the league. They aren't the Panthers, but they just kept pounding. They have been the most thrilling team to watch in the NFL, and they aren't even fully healthy yet.

MVP

Baker Mayfield

Baker and Cade otton

Baker has been on fire. He lost Bucky Irvin, Mike Evans, Godwin, and Egbuka. It doesn't matter that Baker continues torching teams and leads his team to victory over and over again. Baker is playing the best football of his career.

Game of the Week

Panthers vs. Cowboys

George Pickens

The Panthers and Cowboys were going for each other's throats. It was just highlight reel play after highlight reel play. The Cowboys were dominating, but the Panthers managed to steal it at the last second. Bryce looks to be getting comfortable coming from behind.

Play of the Week

The Longest Yard

Baker

Baker big play

Baker Mayfield just decided he wasn't going down and juked and powered through the 49ers' defense for a crucial first down. It's not fancy; it was just the will to win.

Narrative Changers

The Panthers

Rico dowdle

The Panthers started this season off irrelevant. They still aren't trustworthy, but they are a real team that is actually a threat to win games. Rico told the Cowboys he was gonna light them up for cutting him, and he did, going for 239 yards on his own. The Panthers are back on the map.
