WWE 2025 Power Rankings May Week 1
10. Rey Fenix

Rey Fenix is building back up after taking a big L at WrestleMania. This week, he beat Santos Escobar to get a hard-fought victory.
9. Tiffany Stratton

Tiffany Stratton's path hasn't gotten any easier as Naomi Jade and Nia Jax are circling her, but she has not backed down and instead has risen to the occasion.
8. Jade

Jade tagged with the champion Tiffany Stratton against Naomi and Nia, and Jade picked up the victory.
7. Pat McAfee

Pat McAfee is putting everything on the line to face Gunther at the backlash. Pat is standing ten toes down and not flinching. This wee,k he cut the promo of the week.
6. Bron Breakker

Bron Breakker was unleashed on Sami Zayn, and it was like dropping meat in a pirana tank. Bron beat Sami Zayn up so badly that the match was stopped cause Sami could not even fight back or defend himself.
5. Aleister Black

Black-faced Miz and his aura were on 1000. He completely toyed with Miz efficiently and impressively, breaking him down before knocking him out and daring Carmelo to do something about it. Black is a problem.
4. Jey Uso

Jey Uso stepped to Logan Paul and basically laughed in his face for thinking he would just hand over his title to a YouTuber. Then, when Logan tried to insult Jey, he had him looking up at the lights with one super kick as the crowd cheered for Jey.
3. Stephanie Vaquer

Stephanie Vaquer continues to look like a star. This week, she took out Ivy Nile. The way Stephanie is wrestling right now, you could put her across from anyone, and it is believable.
2. Fraxiom

Fraxiom continues to roll. This week, they rolled over Pretty Deadly to remain undefeated.
1. Zelina Vega

Zelina faced a tough first challenge in Piper. Not only did she have to deal with a super heavyweight size difference, but Chelsea and Alba interfered on the outside. Still, Zelina rose above it all and retained her title.
Match of the Week
Fraxiom vs. Pretty Deadly

I'm not gonna front it. It was a bad week for matches. There were no truly great matches, but when the chips are down, you can always count on Fraxiom to deliver thrilling matches.
Promo of the Week
Pat McAfee

Pat pointed out that he's worked hard for everything he has, gives back to his community, and is loyal. He hopes those are the things people remember when he is dead. He also ensured everyone knew he was not backing down from Gunther and was ready to face him no matter the outcome. It was an excellent and impassioned promo. It's wild to think one of the top promo guys in the WWE is an announcer.
Segment of the Week
Lyra vs. Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch is heel again, and she went right at Bayley. She revealed she was the one who took Bayley out, and she's not sorry. She attacked everyone's convenient slip of memory with Bayley and how they have battled all this time. Plus, she reveals she is angry that Lyra dared to cozy up to her enemy.

Then Becky made fun of Bayley for crying about not being a bigger star, inferring that she isn't because she isn't cutthroat enough and doesn't differentiate herself. To be fair, Bayley has fallen into the background. Even when she had damage control, the most interesting thing about that was them turning on her. Everyone wanted to cheer her the whole time, but there hasn't been much story to latch on to with Bayley.

Speaking of that, Lyra has finally found a personality. Finally, we get to see who Lyra really is. When Lyra started firing back at Becky and talking about how Becky was a snake, everyone warned her, but she didn't want to believe it. She reminded Becky that she had already beaten her in NXT and that she made herself, not Becky. Finally, Lyra is giving us something to cheer for. I'm excited to see what happens next.
NXT Standout of the Week: Sol Ruca

Sol Ruca continues to be a treat in the ring. She is one of the most fun superstars to watch. She is to the point that it doesn't matter who she is facing. It just matters that she is wrestling.
Funny Moment of the Week
Jey Uso

Jey Uso calling Logan Paul out as an entitled Youtuber was the funniest moment of the week.
Fit of the Week
Pretty Deadly

Cool Color Scheme was out there, but the risk paid off.
Show of the Week
SmackDown

WWE 2025 May Power Rankings goes to SmackDown. It was a very weak week for both shows. Seems like they did a bunch of cool stuff last week and then didn't have much this week which was a bummer. The most disappointing thing was Tiffany and Seth Rollins' usage.
