WWE 2025 March Week 1 Power Rankings

WWE 2025 March Week 1 Power Rankings

10. Gunther

Gunther chokes Jey

Gunther picked a tough fight with Otis. Say what you want about Otis. He is large and strong, and you probably wouldn't want to fight him. Gunther struggled with Otis, but he found a way to get the win and back up his bravado. After the match, he choked out Otis's left and then surprise attacked Jey, choking him out as well.

9. Jey Uso

Jey Uso spear

Jey came out and beat up Gunther again. Gunther keeps talking trash, and Jey keeps dumping him in it. Jey Uso looks like he's already the champ. Also, this time, Gunther isn't even enough for him. Jey took down A-Town Down Under as well. He's on fire.

8. Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins brawl

Seth Rollin's theme has never sounded harder than when his fireworks burst as CM Punk was talking about him, and Seth ran out to put his hands on CM Punk. Seth Rollins gave as good as he got and went toe-to-toe with CM Punk in a brawl that took every last security guard WWE had to stop. Seth has shown he isn't just ready to talk to talk. He's ready to walk the walk.

7. Pretty Deadly

Pretty Deadly disco ball

Pretty Deadly shocked the world when they defeated the Motor City Machine Guns and the Garzas in a triple threat. Now Pretty Deadly is owed a title match. Will they get back to their NXT champion ways?

6. Randy Orton

Randy Orton mic

Randy Orton came out and cut the promo of the week. If you heard Randy talking about Kevin Owens and you didn't get goosebumps, then you are probably too young to remember Randy Orton from 2009-2010.

5. Lyra Valkyria

Lyra slams Ivy

Ivy Nile attacked Lyra last week to get a title shot. This week she got, and Lyra kicked her butt. Lyra showed Ivy there are levels to this. Lyra may not have the biggest personality on the roster, but you can't question her in between the ropes.

4. CM Punk

CM Punk table

CM Punk started off the week hot by calling out Cena, The Rock, and Seth Rollins. He did not hold back, calling them everything under the sun, leading to a vicious and lengthy brawl with Seth Rollins. It's clear that Seth and CM Punk wanted to kill each other. CM Punk has yet to be in a bad feud. He is must-see TV.

3. La Knight

LA Knight Crowd

La Knight finally saved the United States Championship from Nakamura. Now the title is where it belongs with Mr. Friday Night L-A-Knight.

  1. IYO SKY

IYO Wins Title

IYO Sky shocked the world by defeating Rhea Ripley and punching her ticket to WrestleMania. Everyone assumed this title match was a formality, even Rhea. However, that was a mistake, IYO remains undefeated against Rhea.

1. The War Raiders

The War Raiders

The War Raiders successfully defended their tag titles against a hungry young tag team in the match of the week. There was nobody more impressive than the War Raiders this week.

Promo of the week

Randy Orton Promo

Randy Orton Viper

Randy is hearing the voices again. Randy said that he doesn't understand why Kevin Owens would try and injure Sami like that. Kevin Owens has achieved everything in wrestling. He has nothing to complain about, and besides, hurting Sami didn't even help his career. Randy said he would understand hurting someone to advance a career because he has done it many times, but what Kevin did was different. However, when Randy comes out to save Sami and get revenge on Kevin for injuring him, he hears the voices again. He heard the voices, and he liked it. Now Randy Orton has vowed to be the best punter in WWE, using KO's head and calling John Cena the Rock's bottom.

Match of the Week

The War Raiders vs. Creed Brothers Falling Giant Tag Title Match

The War Raiders

This match was so much better than anyone could have expected. These big men put in work. Eric did a 450 splash. Julius Creed hit a shooting star press. Ivar did a Moonsault. It was such a hard-hitting physical War that it would have finished other wrestlers in several fewer moves than this move took. However, after both teams threw their absolute best shots at each other, the War Raiders emerged victorious. They earned a lot of respect in this match.

Segment of The Week

I Wish I Would Have Pushed her Harder

Bianca and Naomi

Naomi admitted on SmackDown that she attacked Jade, causing Bianca to end their friendship. This is the greatest Cinema on WWE TV right now. Naomi was jealous of Jade, so she injured her to get with Bianca, and it worked. Bianca and Naomi became so close, only for their relationship to end forever because of what Naomi did.

Bianca and Naomi were so good in this segment. Bianca cried and looked truly heartbroken, while Naomi's guttural cries for Bianca not to leave her, which eventually turned to angry, desperate, resentful yells of anguish, were so well done that you couldn't help but feel for her even though she was completely in the wrong. Then Jade came out and destroyed Naomi, and Bianca let it happen.

Funny Moment of the Week

Gunther

Gunther kicks Otis

Gunther launched a hilarious sneak attack. He pretended to talk, and as he said, "And just like Jey Uso," he kicked Otis in the face out of nowhere, which had a hilarious slapstick effect.

Bianca Best Outfit of the Week

Beautiful Bianca

Bianca Belair white

Bianca's white outfit is classy and sexy all at the same time.

NXT Standout of the Week

Kehlani Jordan

Kehlani Jaida Spanish Fly

This week, it wasn't easy to choose a standout from NXT. Spears won the North American Title. Trick knocked his opponent out in the second. Soul Ruca pinned Chelsea Green. Jaida even defeated Kahlani Jordan. However, Kehlani Jordan's performance was so great and special that it just had to be her this week. She performed a Spanish fly off the top rope with Jaida. Jordan jumped off the top into a 450 flip and took an agonizing backbreaker to the top rope. Kehlani has the unique mix of effortlessly being a wrestler you want to root for while also being able to do anything in the ring. She is the only wrestler to remind me of RVD since Matt Riddle.

Show of the week

Raw

Raw Logo red

In the WWE 2025 March Week 1 Power Rankings, Raw dominated the power rankings this week and had better matches than SmackDown. While both shows had good weeks, Raw showcased its superstars better overall.
