WWE January 2025 Power Rankings

10. Drew

Drew McInTyre pose

Drew McIntyre made a good case for himself to Win the Royal Rumble. He made it clear he wasn't done with CM Punk and was also coming straight for Roman. Drew remained one of the top guys this month, mostly with his promo work.

9. Liv

Liv Morgan Raw

Liv is a little lower than she would normally be because she lost her title. However, Liv Morgan has continued to be presented as a top star pulling double duty in January and appearing on both shows to be a thorn in the side of the entire division. Also, with Dom and Raquel by her side, she showed even without the title, she is still one of the most entertaining superstars in WWE.

8. Michin

Michin jumps on Piper

Michin has been on the run. She has been having excellent matches in general, but especially with Piper. She has been screwed out of the women's united states championship by Chelsea Green. However, Michin has been elite this month. She will be a champion in no time.

7. Nia Jax

Nia Jax hits Naomi

The Queen of the Ring and former champion has been knocked back a bit in the rankings. However, Nia is still one of the ten best of WWE this month because she is still right there in the championship picture with both champions, and she remains entertaining and dominant.

6. Rhea

Rhea RipleyTitle

Rhea Ripley got her championship back in the debut of Raw on Netflix. She has had a dominant run, getting the best of Nia and generally running through the women who have gotten in her way. However, she missed the top five because her win against Liv Morgan wasn't great, and her moment felt undercut. Right now, it's indisputable that she is a top ten star, but it remains to be seen whether she will be a fan favorite or get into over-pushed territory.

5. Damian Priest

Damian Priest and Khayden Carter

Damian had a good month going to Smackdown and bringing the pain to Jacob Fatu, who has seemed invincible, and winning the best match of the month against his bitter rival Finn on Raw.

4. Jey

Jey Uso Celebrates

Jey Uso had been super over with the crowd. January, he moved into the world title picture, even big-leaguing Gunther, reminding him that he had been in the main event and Gunther had never been. Also, Jey rejoins Bloodline as an equal to Roman. Jey Uso is one of the most over superstars in WWE, and all he did this month was throw more fuel on fire.

3. Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens Smackdown

Kevin Owens is having his best run in years. He turned on Randy and Cody, and unlike the first time Cody and Kevin faced off, Owens won't be holding back. Kevin Owens is making the case that he should be the guy to beat Cody.

2. CM Punk

CM Punk off the top rope

CM Punk is also in prime form. He has been on the mic serving everyone, and in the ring, he remains one of the best. CM Punk beat Seth in the second-best match of the month and was the saving grace of Raw's debut on Netflix. CM Punk could have a WrestleMania match with just about anyone right now, and it would be entertaining.

1. Tiffany Stratton

Tiffany Wins the Title

The superstar of the month is Tiffany Stratton. Years from now, this month will be most remembered as Tiffy's first Title Time. Tiffany paid off her months-long storyline with Nia Jax and finally took her spot at the top with an epic cash-in. Tiffany has been the crown Jewel of WWE for a while now, and now she has taken her spot at the top. A new era has begun.

Match of the month

Damian Priest vs. Finn Balor Street Fight

Damian Priest Spears Finn Balor

Finn Balor and Damian Priest had the best match of the month. Their street fight was brutal, and it went all over the place. They went through the barricade into the crowd and back out of the crowd into a table. Damian Priest took out the whole Judgment Day and wouldn't even stop when the stretchers were brought out. If Finn and Damian had ended their feud here, it would have been a satisfying finale.

Promo of the Month

Charlotte

Charlotte Flair Returns

Charlotte Flair cut an excellent promo in her return vignette on SmackDown. She fully embraces who she is and disregards everything you think about her. She said all the things you have heard about her are true and that there is a reason it's lonely at the top. She let it be known she is unapologetically coming back with full force to reclaim the division she has dominated for ten years.

Segment Of the Month

Kevin Owens Calls out Cody for Hypocrisy

Kevin Owens Is Right

Kevin Owens started an uncomfortable conversation about Cody Rhodes, and he made a few points. Kevin Owens pointed out that Cody started working with Roman after everyone worked so hard to help him dethrone Roman. He points out Roman tried to end Kevin's career. Kevin is absolutely right. Roman has a lot of blood on his hands after four years. It seems like Cody was able to use that pain to get help to defeat Roman, but once he won, he seemed to forget about all the people he allegedly fought for.

Funny Moment Of the Month

CM Punk Embarreses Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens and CM Punk

Kevin Owen tried to make fun of CM Punk for never fighting in the main event of Wrestlemania, and CM Punk pointed out so many humorous things he's never done that Kevin Owens has done. He said he never lost to Logan Paul, lost five championship matches in a row, or manipulated his friend multiple times to get ahead. CM Punk pointed out that he has always gotten things done on his own.

Fit of the Month

Tiffany Stratton

Tiffany Title Time

Tiffany dressed in her best to win her first championship. Her lacy Sabrina Carpenter-like outfit is the best outfit of the month.

Show of the Month

SmackDown

Smackdown WWE poster

WWE January 2025 Power Rankings and SmackDown wins the show of the month by a very slim margin. There were superstars on both shows, this show complicating matters, and both shows were pretty good this month. However, Smackdown delivered more overall quality than Raw.
