2025 Power Rankings Week 3
2025 Power Rankings Week 3. It's time to list the top ten teams of the week, along with some of the best individual performances, and this week was an exciting one.
10. Vikings

The Vikings embarrased the Bengals. They did the Bengals dirtier than any team has been done this entire season. Regardless of the QB situation, the Vikings defense will keep them in contention and give their young QB time to develop into the player they need him to be.
9. Packers

The Packers took a huge step back this week. I knew the Packers would struggle with the Browns' defense. I talked about it in the Greatest Story on Turf. I did not expect them to actually lose to the Browns. This indicates that the offense is not where it needs to be and is a liability that could hinder the Packers' championship defense.
8. Rams

The Rams' loss against the Eagles showed them in a neutral light. Clearly, they are one of the best rosters in the NFL, and they have a lot of talent that gives them the ability to beat most teams. However, they still can't beat the Eagles, which is who they will need to get through. People will look at the game and say the Rams are right there. However, the fact that they built up such a huge lead and still lost shows they aren't that close to the Eagles.
7. Lions

The Lions are the best team that isn't undefeated. Taking down the Ravens is a huge deal. The Lions gave the Ravens fits, literally fits. Both Lamar and Henry had fits. Henry was stripped again, and Lamar had a career-high night in sacks. Nobody has ever brought Lamar Jackson down as often as the Lions did. The Lions are back on both sides of the ball.
6 .49ers

The 49ers pulled out a big win. Beating the Cardinals A team with the 49ers B team says a lot about the 49ers' potential. We can't count them out of the playoffs just yet. Someone they are at the top of the division. Are the 49ers inevitable?
5. Colts

Daniel Jones and the Colts are for real, and they just continued to show that this week when they rolled over the Titans.
4. Bills

The Bills beat the Dolphins, but they barely beat them. This is an unusual situation where, even in a win, the style of the win raises doubts about the team's actual quality. It could very well be the Dolphins are a divisional rival and just know the Bills better than most teams, but we will have to see them against better teams before we crown the Bills.
3. Bucs

The Buccaneers have been living on the edge, and they like it that way. The Bucs have won their third game in a row at the last second. The Bucs are high-flying and made for the bright lights. They are continuing to creep up my rankings.
2. Chargers

The Chargers have successfully defeated every team in the AFC West. They now control their destiny. The AFC West is theirs to lose. The Chargers are real this year.
1. Eagles

The undefeated undisputed Champions of the world, the Eagles. Finally back where they belong. The Eagles proved they could win however they needed to. People wanted to see them air it out, and they did that under pressure down against the Rams, and they won. The Eagles are the unquestioned best team in the NFL right now.
MVP
Isiah Rodgers

Who else could it be? This man was a one-man army. He had a pick-six and a play where he stripped the ball, recovered it, and ran it back for a touchdown.
Narrative Changer
The Lions

The Lions were feared to have lost their special sauce this year after losing both their offensive and defensive coordinators. Those fears seemed to be true when the Lions looked horrible in the season opener. However, as it turns out, they were just working out the kinks. The Lions demolished their old OC, Ben Johnson, and then followed it up by defeating the Ravens in a dominant performance. It wasn't just because the Bears are bad, the Lions are really still top contenders.
Game of the Week
The Rams vs. Eagles

This game was a journey and a half. First, it looked like the Rams were going to rout the Eagles. Then the Eagles' offense exploded and started roaring back. Then it looked like the Rams were going to survive on a field goal, but the Eagles not only blocked it but also ran it back for a final touchdown. Incredible.
Play of the Week
Jordan Davis

Jordan Davis blocking the game-winning field goal and running it all the way back was one of the craziest plays you will see this year.
