10. Jaguars

The Jaguars struck back against the 49ers. This win proves that the Jaguars will fluctuate under their new head coach but ultimately have a high ceiling.
9. Chargers

The chargers took a fat L to the Giants proving that they are still not to be trusted. This was a team loss and if the Chargers end up losing the division because of it that would be such a shame. The Chargers do have some key injuries but the show goes on and they have to find a way to overcome.
8. Steelers

The Steelers' entire division is falling apart. The Browns are the Browns and the Bengals and Ravens are injured and bad. The Steelers are always stable and competitive but that could win the division this year.
7. Seahawks

The Seahawks have already beaten the number 8 team and played pretty well. They have one of the best defenses in the league and pretty good offensive weapons. Sam has proved he can play. Maybe they can win a playoff game again.
6. Colts

The Colts lost but they proved a lot with their loss. They went blow-for-blow with the Rams and if Mitchell hadn’t fumbled a touchdown by himself into a touchback for no reason they probably would have won. The fact that the Colts still look that good against the Rams cements them even further as serious contenders.
5. Rams

The Rams bounced back with a win and they roll on as top contenders in the NFC with explosive offensive output. The Rams could win it all if they catch a few breaks.
4. Bucs

The Bucs lost to the Eagles and are no longer undefeated and much like the Colts the grit and determination they showed made it clear they are real. The Bucs weren’t even fully healthy in that game and they still played like that.
3. lions

The Lions faced the big bad Browns defense that exposed the Packers and smothered the Bengals' offense but the Lions cut through them like butter. It’s getting scary out here for NFL defenses standing across from the Lions.
2. Bills

The Bills are one of two undefeated teams and they should be commended for that and that’s why they are number two. But the reason they aren’t number one is because they have been highly suspect. They struggled against the Saints and their most credible win was a comeback win against a 1-4 Ravens team. Keep your eye on the Bills, time will reveal if all is as it seems.
1. Eagles

The Eagles remained undefeated. They blew the Bucs out in the first half and held off the comeback in the second half. Every time the Eagles are doubted they just win and make everyone look stupid. Here’s a crazy thought maybe the undefeated Super Bowl champions are good.
Game of the week
Cowboys vs. Packers

The Cowboys were supposed to get blown out by the Packers but nobody told them that. They went blow for blow with the Packers and it went into overtime and ended in a tie. You could see how much this meant to both teams they were not losing and neither did. You might not like a tie but you can’t say it wasn’t a great game.
Mvp
Patrick Mahomes

Patrick Mahomes, now here’s a guy who went out and beat the Ravens and put his team back on track. Season on the line in a got to have it game Mahomes let the pressure turn him into a diamond and he crushed the Ravens.
Play of the week
George Pickens catch

This catch was insane. The kind of catch that makes you gasp. Double covered on the sideline with no room to work Dak throws a homing missile that falls perfectly in Pickens' arms and he catches it in bounds and it was just everything the Cowboys hoped to get out of Pickens.
Narrative changer
The Cowboys

When Jerry said he thought the Cowboys were a playoff team after they were destroyed by the Bears I laughed and I think the NFL world laughed too. But we have to admit that if they play like that they can definitely be a playoff team.
