The Broncos were supposed to be doing what the Chargers are doing in the AFC West. They have struggled, but despite a few bad moments, they are 1-2, and they could be a 2-2 if not for a penalty. But they can't lose this game if they are gonna be taken seriously. But the Broncos aren't actually the Story here; it's the Bengals. Is the Bengals' season already over? Because that's what it looked like against the Vikings. They can't win with that performance. They didn't even deserve a participation trophy. The Vikings' defense is tough, but so is the Denver defense, so we shall see how bad things are for the Bengals.

The Bills are expected to destroy the Saints. The Saints have played tough, but have been little more than a sparring partner who nobody expects to win. If they did, it would be one of the greatest upsets of this year, but most likely, we are looking at how badly the Bills can beat the Saints. However, the Dolphins were supposed to be the worst team in the league, but they almost beat the Bills. Can the Saints finish the job?

Last Week's Wonders vs. Last Weeks Blunders

The Commanders actually destroyed the Raiders even without Jayden Daniels. However, this week they are losing Jayden and Terry McLaurin. Can Marcus Mariota pull it off again? Plus, Penix looked awful last week. People are actually talking about Kirk Cousins again. Personally, I don't think Penix should be taken out, but Penix and the Falcons have to bounce back. However, the Dolphins were supposed to be the worst team in the league, but they almost beat the Bills.

2021 Draft Almost Revisited

Purdy returning from injury really robbed us of a good story. It was almost Mac Jones #15 overall going against Trevor Lawrence #1 overall. Plus, Mac Jones was even traded to the Jags to back up Trevor Lawrence, but unfortunately, Mac Jones will not be getting a revenge game. Purdy is returning. The Jaguars have their own offense to figure out, but the biggest question mark is for the 49ers. Are they rushing Purdy back too soon? He had an injury that took him out for a while. He didn't even get a full normal week of practice. Just cause he can go back out there, should he? Will this be a grand return or a big mistake?

Titans vs. Texans

South of South

That's where both of these teams are. Both are winless but showing promise. The Texans have played against good teams, but they have been dysfunctional on offense, and despite their strong defense, they aren't getting away with it anymore. They have to fix this offense. It's as simple as that. They have the potential to be better, but something is wrong and has been for a year. Maybe it's the line, maybe it's the playcalling. Truthfully, I don't know, but I do know they are too good to play the way they do.

The Titans have flashed with Cam Ward, but they haven't gotten that signature win to announce his arrival. Securing their first win against the previous AFC champions would be a significant statement.

Panthers vs. Patriots

Fight for the future

Both teams are 1-2. The Patriots were expected to be good this year, but they have not lived up to the hype. I have to bring the coach to the forefront. They fired Mayo after using him for a rebuild where they knew he couldn't succeed, so they could hire Vrabel. So far, I haven't seen Vrabel do anything Mayo couldn't do. In fact, the team has looked more unfocused, and their games have been penalty parties. Plus, Vrabel cost the team the game by starting Gibson and Stevenson over their new explosive running back, Henderson. He watched both of them fumble and didn't put the young gun in til it was too late. The Patriots need to bounce back.

The Panthers don't give a damn about the Patriots. They are trying to make their own revival. They just dominated the Falcons, and now they have finally gotten some confidence. Can they keep rolling?

Cardinals vs. Seahawks

Redeem Team

The Seahawks look to be on the path to win the division and return to being a genuine contender. Same Darnold has proved that while the Vikings helped, it wasn't smoke and mirrors; he really can play. So how far can the Seahawks go with him? For the Cardinals, they have to redeem themselves after choking to the Mac Jones-led 49ers. This is a divisional game with postseason implications. It should be exciting; anything can happen in a division game.

The Seahawks did, in fact, win, but it could be that they won the battle and lost the war. The Cardinals were awful most of the game, but they figured things out by the end and came roaring back. It was the Seahawks that almost choked it away. The Seahawks' defense is for real, and the offense has the tools. However, by the time these teams play again, the Cardinals have the potential to be significantly better, while the Seahawks are likely playing near their ceiling.

Jets vs. Dolphins

From the Jaws of Defeat

One of these teams is going to turn it all around here. The Dolphins are hungry after giving their all against the Bills and losing. Tua has a back-and-forth with Cam; it's clear the pressure is building around this team. Tua, Mike McDaniel, and Hill are all on the hot seat. They need this. They came so close to winning against the Bills.

But the Jets have done that against everyone but the Bills. The Jets feel like they are close, and they need to finish. Justin Fields is back, and you can bet he's hungry to make up for that abysmal performance against the Bills. Getting injured in that game probably reinforced that every game could be your last, so play like it. The Jets are young and hungry to prove themself. Fun fact: Justin Fields was the first QB to rush for 140+(178) yards and throw for three or more tds (3 tds), and he did it as a bear in his first year starting against the Dolphins.
